There’s actually some decent fluff on Southeast Asia, it’s apparently ruled by chaos worshiping naga like creatures, so that could be an option for an army, and there is mention of beastmen and high elven colonies there.

China and Korea are big markets though, so I don’t think it is necessarily out of the question, especially in a hypothetical game 4 situation. I don’t think it would be hard to do a Cathay army, but it would end up being a more generic China fantasy army than a Warhammer army since they really don’t have much fluff to work from. and since it's obviously china it could fill out with some chinese centric units crossbows, gunpowder units/artillery, whatever kind of infantry they used I don't actually know what kind of similarities were between china and shogun era japan.Ĭhina was more crossbows, pikemen/polearms(similar to naginata style) rockets, etc. The longer more snake like ones? that would be rad. I don't think there is any sort of far eastern factions in tabletop, not exactly the most knowledgeable person about it though.

Tomb kings is really the only codex army left though, after that we are in the Wild West. I am hopeful that one or more of Araby and Tilea will make it in, and there’s some fan support for Amazons so they are a possibility. Tomb kings is definitely coming up, then who knows, according to rumor skaven was planned as dlc but got moved up into the full game leaving only tomb kings. I would not expect anyone who can’t be placed on the vortex map (so anyone without a presence in ‘Africa’ or ‘South America’ is probably out.) Game 3 is dark lands/mountains of mourn/chaos wastes (so ‘central asia’) focused supposedly, expect demons, chaos dwarfs, and ogres to be in that game. But then what's left for Warhammer 3? End Times stuff? Don't get me wrong I'd dig Nagash, but a whole new game that is just an expansion to existing stuff doesn't quite seem to make sense. What's left? Ogre Kingdoms, Daemons, Tomb Kings, probably Araby and some other minor races. I'm guessing we're looking at race DLC packs like we did with the first game. Playing around with Warhammer 2, something struck me when the intro mentioned Daemons.
